Robert Hoon as Managing Director with effect from 1st August 2007.
 Robert 44, who lives with his partner in Derbyshire and is a keen horse rider and animal lover, has extensive experience of the print industry and the secure print marketplace, following a 22 year career in sales and management, most recently at Bemrose Booth.
Over the last seven months Robert has been working as Managing Director Designate at Datagraphic to familarise himself with the company and to prepare a business plan to take the company forward. He is now ready to lead Datagraphic through an exciting period of development.
Robert comments, "Datagraphic has a strong reputation as a commercial security print in the short-run cheque printing market but less is known publically about their ground breaking work in other areas such as paying in books and transactional documents. We want to share our expertise in areas such as Transpromo with our network of print distributors and our new business plan will enable this to happen. Datagraphic will grow sustainably by offering our customers innovative secure print solutions and dependable services". Robert continues, "A Strong management team is a key goal over the next twelve months. The business has started this process with the appointment of a new Production Manager for the Digital area and a new Customer Services Manager". The ongoing support of the distributor base is also a key objective for the management team who, following a recent review of customers' needs, will be moving to an account management approach. A new intergrated MIS and CRM system will also start to be implemented this month, with anticipated benefits by the end of the year.
Scotch Kirkpatrick, who is one of the founding shareholders of Datagraphic will hand over his operational duties as MD to concentrate on innovation and marketing. He will be working on strategic opportunities for Datagraphic through technological developments, new product and service offerings as well as providing technical and commercial support to Datagraphic's distributor network.
